How the transfer works
-
Unlock the domain name
Ask your current registrar to unlock the .AS domain name (remove its transfer lock) before the transfer.
-
Get the authorisation code
The transfer needs the authorisation code of the .AS domain name (also called auth code or EPP code), given by the current registrar.
-
The expiry date
The transfer does not change the expiry date of the .AS domain name.
These steps come from our record of the .AS registry rules. The extension page gives the full record.
Changing the holder
A transfer moves the .AS domain name to Domgate; the holder stays the same unless a change of holder is requested at the same time. Changing the holder (owner change) has its own procedure:
| Procedure | Automated |
|---|---|
| Documents required | No |
| Registration date change | No |
