What is the Domgate reseller program?
The Domgate reseller program is a wholesale service for professionals who sell domain names to their own clients. As a Domgate reseller, you register and manage country code domains (ccTLDs) for your clients from a single account: in the client area, through the Domains Reseller API, with the Domgate WHMCS module or over EPP. Domgate handles what makes country code domains hard to sell: it keeps the rules of each registry up to date, tells you which documents a registry asks for before the order and files them with the registration, and provides the local presence that restricted extensions require.
The program is made for retail and corporate registrars, hosting companies and web agencies that want to offer more country code extensions, and for IP law firms and other professionals who prefer to outsource complex ccTLDs. Domgate works only with professionals, never directly with consumers. The company has registered country code domains since 2014; it was founded by Philippe Boos, a former European Trademark Attorney, and its team brings together ccTLD account managers, ccTLD legal specialists and IT experts.
Reseller prices apply to reseller accounts. They differ from the public prices shown on the site, in euros excluding VAT, and are not published: you ask for them with the form on this page, and our wholesale prices page explains how they work.
Today
How you register ccTLDs
A few extensions through several suppliers, each with its own account, rules and invoices. The ccTLDs you don't offer, your clients buy elsewhere.
With Domgate
A single gateway to ccTLDs
Key points of the program
- Global management of all your ccTLDs via a single portal
- API easily plugged in to your own platform
- Access to up-to-date rules and conditions of domain name registration
- Upload of documents via your portal
- Constant update of registration process and status
- Time saving (paperwork)
Why use one gateway instead of several suppliers?
Most registrars reach country code domains through several suppliers, each with its own account, rules and invoices, and the extensions none of them covers are bought elsewhere by their clients. One Domgate account replaces that patchwork.
| Several suppliers | One Domgate account | |
|---|---|---|
| Extensions you can offer | Only those your suppliers cover | 1,300+ ccTLDs, each with its page of registry rules and prices |
| Extensions that need a local presence | Your clients buy them elsewhere | Domgate provides the local presence where the registry requires one |
| Registry rules | Followed supplier by supplier | Kept up to date on each extension page and in the client area |
| Registry documents | Sent to each supplier in its own way | Uploaded in the client area or through the API, with the status of each order |
| Accounts and invoices | One account, rules and invoices per supplier | One account |
| Support | Several help desks | A dedicated account manager and reseller support that answers within 24 hours on working days |
The domains your clients already hold at other registrars can join the same account through a domain transfer; if the extension requires a local presence that your client does not have, we add our local presence service to the transfer order, for the extensions where we offer it.

How do you connect: client area, API, WHMCS module or EPP?
Choose the connection that fits your platform; many resellers combine the client area with the API or the WHMCS module. Once your account is open, your credentials are in the client area, under Support › Reseller Registrar Credentials.
| Connection | Made for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Client area | Resellers who order by hand | Order, renew and transfer domains, upload the documents a registry asks for, follow each status, manage contacts, sub-accounts and payment methods. |
| Domains Reseller API | Your own platform or scripts | Requests over HTTPS with your API token and account e-mail, answers in JSON: register, transfer and renew; nameservers, contacts, DNS records, registrar lock and authorisation code; synchronisation of statuses and expiry dates; your balance and transactions. |
| WHMCS module | Hosting companies that sell with WHMCS | Adds Domgate as a registrar in WHMCS, with the additional fields each extension needs in your order form. Your account manager sends you the module. |
| EPP | Registrars with their own EPP client | The standard EPP commands for domains and contacts (RFC 5731 and RFC 5733); a poll tells you whether the registry documents were received, rejected or accepted. |
The prices per extension can also be read in JSON, through the pricing action of the portal's API, with access details we give you on request. When a registry asks for documents, you upload them in the client area or through the document API, with the token of the domain that the API returns. Through the API, you can also offer anonymous registration to your clients, under your name.

- Human resources saving (salaries, rental space, training)

- Free domain training courses for clients and staff members
Which country code domains can your clients register?
Every extension of our catalogue has its own page with the registry rules, the documents, the processing time and the public price, and our country code domains page lists them by region, with second-level extensions such as .com.br or .co.th.
For a reseller, the extensions that matter most are often the ones other suppliers leave out, because their registry wants an address, a company or a contact in the country. Domgate provides that local presence through its own branch offices in some countries and trusted local agents in others. You order it with the domain, from the client area or through the API, for a yearly fee per domain, and whatever role Domgate takes with the registry, a written agreement records that the domain is registered for you or your client.
Where the domain must match a local company name or a trademark, as for .co.th in Thailand, we register the trademark locally through our network of local trademark attorneys. The registration then follows the processing time of the registry, from 24 hours for .com.br to two to five days for .om, and the holder still provides the documents the registry asks for. Our local presence page sets out, extension by extension, the condition, the role we take, the documents and the price.

Once we start using Domgate, we shifted at many markets. We were uncompetitive with pricing in these markets, but as we choose Domgate, we drop prices and start selling. Nice flexible team, btw :)

Reseller program: frequent questions
A ccTLD reseller program lets a registrar, a hosting company or another professional sell country code domains to its own clients without an accreditation at each country's registry. Domgate resellers order 1,300+ ccTLDs from one account, in the client area, through the Domains Reseller API, with the WHMCS module or over EPP. Domgate keeps each registry's rules up to date, files the documents a registry asks for with the registration, and provides the local presence where a registry requires one.
Your account manager sends it to you once your reseller account is open, or you ask for it at [email protected]; it is not offered for download. You install it among the WHMCS registrar modules, enter your account e-mail and your API key, and it adds the fields each extension needs to your order form.
Yes. Every Domgate service is paid in advance, and no domain is renewed without payment in advance: an unpaid domain is not renewed and expires on its expiry date. The API returns your balance and your transactions, and our payment methods page lists the cards and PayPal that the site accepts.
You do, as their reseller: you check your clients' e-mail address and telephone number at registration and, where relevant, at a change or a complaint; for these checks, Domgate does not step in between resellers and their clients. Domgate checks that the data are consistent, to estimate their quality and the level of risk, and asks for further verification when the risk seems high. For every domain with our local presence, Domgate keeps the name and contact details of the actual holder.
One of our experts reviews the report and passes it to the holder, who can explain and prove that there is no abuse. The domain is suspended at once when the abuse is manifestly deliberate, when it concerns a domain registered with our local presence, or when the holder has already been the subject of an abuse; otherwise the holder has 2 to 5 days to answer before the domain and its services are suspended. Our service terms give the full rules.
