Finding the copies before your customers do

Phishing uses your name to obtain what your customers would only give to you: passwords, card numbers, payments, personal data. Apart from forged email, the fraud does not need your own domain. It relies on a look-alike domain, a copied page, or a social media account that borrows your logo and your tone. Monitoring finds these copies; removing them is the second half of the work.

What is monitored

  • Look-alike domains: names that contain your brand, misspell it, add a word such as "login" or "support", or use characters from another script that look the same.
  • Websites that copy your design, your logo or your login form, wherever they are hosted.
  • Social media: accounts and pages that use your name or your logo, pose as your support team, or advertise fake offers.
  • Signs of preparation: a look-alike domain that changes holder, registrar or name servers, which often precedes a live site.

Why it matters

A customer who loses money on a fake site blames the brand it imitated. Each day a phishing page stays online adds victims, and each impersonating account weakens the trust your real accounts have built. Finding them early shortens that time, and a documented record of each case supports the actions that follow.

How Domgate handles it

We set up the monitoring around your brands, your products and the countries where you operate, including their country code domains. Each finding reaches you with the address, a link to the website when one is active, dated screenshots, and the public registration record of the domain when there is one. For each case we recommend an action: keep watching, report it to the platform or the host, send a cease-and-desist letter, or recover the domain through our domain recovery service.

What you provide

  • The brands, product names and logos to watch, and your official domains and accounts, so that we can tell them apart from the copies.
  • Proof of your rights, such as your trademark registrations, which platforms and hosts ask for before they remove content.
  • The people who receive the alerts and decide on the actions.

Who it is for

Brands whose customers log in, pay or share personal data online, such as banks, retailers, travel, software and telecom companies. Registrars and law firms can also offer the service to their own clients.

Anti-phishing: frequent questions

Can you remove a phishing site hosted abroad?

We report it to the host, to the registrar of the domain and, where it applies, to the registry, with the evidence they ask for. When they do not act, and the domain reproduces your trademark, the domain itself can be recovered through a dispute procedure.

Which social networks do you monitor?

The networks where your customers are, agreed with you when the monitoring is set up, and reviewed as your markets change.

What do you need to start?

The brands and logos to watch, your official domains and accounts, and your trademark registrations. We set up the monitoring from there.
