One team for domains, trademarks and enforcement

A brand online is a set of names: the domains you hold, the trademarks that protect them, the email that carries your name and the accounts that speak for you. Each of them can be copied, taken or forged. Domgate brings together the services that protect them, run by one team that knows both the registry rules of each country code extension and the legal procedures that apply when a name is infringed.

The services fall into four groups: watching what others do with your name, acting when they infringe it, planning and managing your own portfolio, and registering the trademarks that recovery and enforcement rely on. Domgate was founded by a former European trademark attorney, and our legal department handles the cases that call for it.

Brand protection: frequent questions

What does brand protection cover?

Four groups of services: watching domains, websites, email and social media for uses of your brand; acting against infringements with takedowns, recovery procedures and blocking; planning and managing your domain portfolio; and registering the trademarks that give you rights.

Where should a company start?

With what it already holds: an inventory of its domains and trademarks, compared with its markets. The gaps it shows decide the next steps. Our portfolio strategy and audit and our trademark and domain watching are the usual first steps.

Can registrars and law firms offer these services to their clients?

Yes. Our reseller partners offer corporate services such as portfolio audit and consolidation, domain watching, cease-and-desist letters, UDRP procedures and anonymization to their own clients. Our reseller partner program explains how.

How are the services priced?

Each case depends on the brands, the markets and the services involved. Tell us what you want to protect, and we come back with a proposal.
