• A product or brand launch. Registering the domains months before the announcement, without a public record that links them to the company.
• A new market. Securing the country code domain before the competition learns that you are coming.
• A merger or a change of name. The new name must have its domains before it becomes public.
• Defensive registrations. Variants and typos registered without drawing attention to the fact that the company is watching them.

Since the European data protection rules, most registries no longer publish the personal data of individuals. Company names, however, are often still visible, and some registries publish the full contact details of every holder. Anonymous registration covers those cases: the contacts shown are ours, and the registrant of record can be our entity when the registry rules permit it. Your account shows the real holder; the public record does not.

• Registries that require the identity of the holder. When an extension requires a local company or a local identification, the local rules decide what appears; our local presence service then applies, with its own conditions, and we tell you beforehand what will be visible.
• Legal requests. A court order or a dispute procedure obliges us to disclose the holder. The client remains responsible for the use of the domain and for the content of the site.
• Content. Anonymous registration does not hide a website; it hides who registered the domain.

Choose the extension, then tick the anonymisation option in the order. A written agreement records who the domain belongs to and how it is handed back. The domain can be moved to the client's own name at any time, in the same account, without a transfer between registrars. The option is charged per domain and per year, next to the registration price.

Many confidential projects target restricted extensions. The two services then work together: the local presence satisfies the registry, the anonymisation keeps the project out of the public record, and the same agreement covers both. Our account managers check the rules of the extension before you order and say clearly what can and cannot be hidden.

Registrars offer the option to their own clients through our API, under their name: the order carries a flag, the contacts shown are ours, the invoice is yours. Law firms use it for the clients whose projects they prepare, with the agreement drafted in their name. When the project becomes public, the domain is put in the client's name in a few clicks, without any change of registrar and without interruption of the site or the mailboxes.
