Bangladesh has officially modernized its domain system with the introduction of second-level .bd domains, allowing registrations like yourname.bd instead of traditional third-level extensions such as .com.bd or .org.bd. This change makes local domains shorter, cleaner, and more brand-friendly.

Public Registration Started from January 18, 2026

The new .bd domains is available for public registration starting January 18, 2026. With shorter names in high demand, early registration is recommended to secure your preferred domain.
