.NZ is the country-code domain extension of New Zealand, managed by InternetNZ. No local presence is required: holders based in any country can register. Individuals and organisations can both be holders, without a company registration number.

Domgate also offers 3 second-level extensions under .NZ, such as .CO.NZ, .NET.NZ and .ORG.NZ. No application form is needed.

With Domgate, a .NZ domain costs €18 a year, at registration and at each renewal. Domains are registered and renewed for 1 to 10 years. After the expiry date, a domain can still be renewed late: Until Renewal date + 4 days. Restoration after expiry: Day 4 until Day 94. A domain is transferred with its authorisation code (authcode), obtained from the current registrar. A domain can be deleted before its expiry date.
